I believe this is a thread on Jul or something but since modern English has weird spellings, then people tend to pronounce other people's username differently.
"SquidEmpress", and the variation, "SquidGirl" are straightforward. My old username, "HolyRomanEmperor", is also straightforward. The variation of my old username (which is also an old username of mine  ), "HolyRomanEmperorTatan", is probably mispronounced on the "Tatan" section. I would not be surprised if people pronounce it as "tat en". It is actually pronounced as "tátan", which is "tah tahn".

I've since started using a pronunciation with a long E sound and the Y being a long I (i.e. fie-ree-sis), while before the Y was a short... U, I guess? and the E was short too (i.e. fuh-re-sis). |
