I'm very surprised this thread has not made yet. I preodered both the 3DS version and Wii U version. The 3DS version releases on October 3, which is Friday next week.
I think it would have been great if both versions came out on the same day, but oh well. Simply put. Both.
I sometimes go out to Streetpass.. So I can get whatever benefits the 3DS version gets from it. Then the Wii U allows for play on a bigger screen. Bonuses to both! The world could always use more heroes! |

They could have done cross platform support, but I think it would have compromised both versions' quality. The smash run will help out the Wii U version from what I've read. Also rumors are there are a few things that will unlock if you link the two versions.
I'm getting both. The idea of being able to play it anywhere is nice. Although the Wii U version will become my primary version. I'm getting both because I apparently have more money than brains when it comes to buying things. I say that everyone with the Wuu version should network together and we should hold tourneys.
Hell, any matches I'm in (or spectating, if that's allowed) can be recorded and thrown up on Youtube for posterity. |
