IRC is a drug.
Side effects include insomnia, depression, increased frustration, dependency, loss of vision over time, weight gain, "chair back", urge to gamble or perform unsafe tasks, use of /me in a paper or report, desire to find out who this 'peer' is and why he's a dick, loss of time, and communism. EA EA EA?
If I remember correctly, EA is the hex code for a NOP operation... in some language. I wish I knew more. |

♥241 ✿4710 ★53 I tried to learn 6502 assembly once and it was a complete and utter failure. Maybe I should try again sometime, as I actually have some more knowledge of programming in general at least compared to back then... (going from VB3 to 6502 may have been too big a step) |

Posted by LilianaThat reminds me of my old A-Level electronics exams.. There was a small unit on microprocessors.. I still recall a written description of a program.. a diagram.. and then having to write out hex codes with comments beside it. How I loved that question.. Some people struggled, and yet I understood it perfectly. The world could always use more heroes! |

Posted by GreyMariaPosted by Liliana Usually, EA EA EA is a placeholder where a JSR is supposed to go (which takes three bytes see). But that's about all I know about programming I swear. |

SNES is fully capable of running a JVM. I actually ran a JVM on a similarly powerful hardware. Making Java run on a NES would be tricky though.
Note that it would be a stripped down JVM with very basic API. Similar to Java ME or Android Java (which is it's own virtual machine with it's own API). Though with old hardware like NES/SNES I consider it generally a bad idea to abstract it away with more high-level languages so if someone did port JVM to SNES it would be for shit and giggles. On the other hand, there is Famicom basic. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org, YouTube
