I'm very surprised this thread has not made yet. I preodered both the 3DS version and Wii U version. The 3DS version releases on October 3, which is Friday next week.
I think it would have been great if both versions came out on the same day, but oh well. Simply put. Both.
I sometimes go out to Streetpass.. So I can get whatever benefits the 3DS version gets from it. Then the Wii U allows for play on a bigger screen. Bonuses to both! The world could always use more heroes! |

They could have done cross platform support, but I think it would have compromised both versions' quality. The smash run will help out the Wii U version from what I've read. Also rumors are there are a few things that will unlock if you link the two versions.

I'm getting both because I apparently have more money than brains when it comes to buying things. I say that everyone with the Wuu version should network together and we should hold tourneys.
