I might have PGAD and I'm a bit nervous right now. I've made a doctor's appointment for this coming Monday. Hopefully I can keep it, since money has been very tight recently. I think my co-pay is $70.

So....where to start.

Thing is, I might not have PGAD, which stands for persistent genital arousal disorder. Terrible name! Thanks for trying to be discreet about it. Thing is, since yesterday, I've felt like I had to urinate when I didn't have to. This feeling continues into today but not as persistent.

I've read a few articles since last night. This could be because of stress. This summer alone...

1. My husband's grandmother passed away.
2. Husband lost job a week after we got a new car.
3. Having to borrow money from people.

Most of the stress is from money. Or the lack thereof.

But the PGAD might not be from that. This is a new thing and many doctors don't even know what the cause is. Some say it could be related to restless leg syndrome. It could also mean that there's something bad going on down there, like a cyst or nerve damage. So, as embarrassing as it is, I have to go to the doctor.

Now, in the past, I have had two spontaneous orgasims. Once was when I was 17 and the other happened about a year ago. I thought nothing of it, until yesterday. Its like I'm at the cusp of an orgasim (hence the feeling to pee) but there is no tipping point. This is all very distracting and stressful.

I just needed to get this out. Maybe it'll help, a little, at least mentally.

Hopefully I'll know more on Monday.

Not much I can say to help unfortunately. I wish you he best, and hopefully getting it taken care of quickly w/o having to experiencing anything major.

Ugh money stress is always the worst. Plus like debt it compounds. Things will turn around. Just make sure to try to find that moment of distraction.

I know you have a many others you can talk to, but if you'd like one more feel free to send a PM, or DM on twitter (actually this work better since I get phone alerts. My twitter handle is in my board profile)

Hopefully you'll know more soon!

I never knew such a thing existed. I did know about Restless Leg Syndrome though, as I have a mild case of it. I haven't had any symptoms of that related to arousal, though. I'm not sure how different it is for guys than girls.

Also, I don't even have health insurance, so if I get sick or something, I'm screwed. I hope the doctor is able to help you if something is indeed wrong. I wish you the best on the road to recovery. Not only that, I hope you guys are able to bounce back pretty quick with the job loss; networking is an amazing thing nowadays, especially for when you're looking for a job. It's usually who you know that can get you situated with employment. I've been down that road too, so, to a point, I know how your hubby feels.

Don't focus on the obstacle. Focus on what's beyond it. That's the best way to defeat stress.

Good luck, Next Jen!

I'm pretty sure what I have it UTI, which is better than what I thought it was. Been drinking a lot of cranberry juice.

Not sure if I should keep my appointment for Monday or not.

That's good to here. While not 'good' it's much easier to treat. I hope you are able to get past this now that you know what to do to knock it out! :)

Did you end up keeping your appointment?

Cranberry juice... :(

The taste is alright except for the bitterness. Not to mention the fact that everything in stores is some cocktail of cranberry juice and not the pure stuff that you need. At least where I'm at, it's hard stuff to get.

UTI is not fun at all. I don't know how the pain is for women vs. men, but when I had it, I felt like I was pissing out a cactus. Nothing like orgasms or anything like that though...

How's your hubby doing with the job search?

I guess I forgot to mention that he does have a job now. He was without one for about a month and for some reason, unable to get unemployment, so that set us back big time, still is. He's trying to work OT when he can since this job doesn't pay as well as we would like.

Strange that I never got a burning sensation. I did get cramps and terrible lower back pain as the week went on.

Feeling better. About to take another pill, which will leave me with two left to take tomorrow.

Edit: Just talked to my dad. Looks like my grandmother might pass away very soon, perhaps today.

My husband's grandmother passed recently. We had her funeral last month.

If the funeral is on Saturday, I won't have to take time off of work since I'm already off that day. Its about a 2.5 hour drive.

Thing is, I would stay with my dad, but he is the Crazy Dad Lady. He loves cats and takes them in. This has made his house a little hard to stay in because of the smell. Plus I'm allergic to cats. I have two but I take medicine and I have two air purifiers.

But anyway, this was coming and I'm ready for her passing and wish her all the best in the next life. I'm happy that I had the chance to see her last month.

Edit: Grandmother passed away.

My consonances to you and your family. I am glad you got the opportunity to see her before she passed. Not always do you get that chance.

Let me know if there is anything I can do.

*hugs Anya* Sounds like you're having a bad month. Hopefully things get better soon. May your grandmother rest in peace.

I'm not a fan of cranberry juice. I don't like bitter tastes. But if it helps you get healthy, go ahead and choke it down as best you can ^_~

* Squiddy hugs Next Jen.

Yeah, sometimes you just have on bad thing after another. That sucks. But even when I am just experiencing only one bad time in my life, I sometimes want to take my own life. ;_;

I've had suicidal before, mostly when I was younger. Some of these feelings did surface again recently, but thankfully I thought them off. That's all we can do, fight through life.

Well if suicidal thoughts DO turn physical, you may need to consult somebody about that.

I was starting to feel a little bit better and then I lost my friend. Four people that I knew dying within two months. One of which was the front of house manager at work and I didn't like him that much, but still sad that he died. The two grandmothers, I understand, old age, but with Taryn, she was younger than me. And there's so many questions that still remain.

Thankfully my job gives out a bonus each year. We were able to pay everyone back and we got caught up on bills. I was even able to buy new breaks for my car (had a friend install them).

So there's that. I'm still not fully me, but I am better than I was about a week ago, but not by much.

Oh, things are starting to get better....lets mess things up all over again. -_-

Husband just lost his job, but he might be able to fight it. Need to move out of our complex because the rent is going up...again, and it too much for us.

It really sounds like things are going badly for you two. Seems like you've been struggling with finances since pretty much forever, even back in the Jul days.

Is there any apartment you could move into that's cheaper in rent, or do you still have to look? I know that finding affordable places to live isn't easy these days. And of course I hope that your husband will find a new job.
