Turns out talking with my neighbor my part of the street got passed up. (Makes sense it's kind of at the end of the street). Still I want to try to give out next year. See how it goes. Car accidents have to suck.. Near misses are just as shaking up. Trust me. That one was caused by a lack of attention for a run of cars and changing speed limit. I brake so softly normally.. so I managed to avoid it.. but only just. The world could always use more heroes! |

The worst thing is the part where you suddenly get incredibly scared of driving a car. I'm glad I started again right away, so I managed to regain my confidence, but at first I went like super slow and hugged the steering wheel because I thought I would crash again any second.
I've been told that if you don't do that, your fears will overrun you and you'll never be able to drive a car again. That would've been awful. |

That was hard to get back on after. Then one where a car pulled out a driveway too fast and I went over the handlebars. That one, I just got back on the bike and carried on after. Never affected my cycling, due to the instantly back on thing. The world could always use more heroes! |
