Taking a little break from Rhapsody and started a new file on Pokémon AlphaSapphire... I chose Mudkip as my starter (keeping my tradition of water starters on first run  ) and played up to the first Brendan fight  "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Just broke into the inverted castle and the difficulty is returning.
My Alucard is sitting at level 35 with a good chunk to the Life Ups in the main castle, so he's beefy, but the new enemies hit like a train made out of trucks. I even have the Walk Armor and Joseph's Cloak for the defense benefits, but I'm still getting my ass handed to me by these monsters. |

Saints Row: Gat out of Hell.
Has quite a different feel to the other Saints Row titles. It's certainly short, but that's not to say it isn't fun. There's no missions. Just activities and the like to annoy Satan with, which leads to scenes which finally unlocks the battle with Satan where you get to punch him in the face. There's five endings to pick from too. Which means you get to punch Satan in the face five times. Oh, as to what I mean by short - It took me just over three hours to get to view one of the endings. It takes more if you really want to get the best out of it - Which is where you have 100% of Hell Overthrown.. And trying to get those seven deadly sin weapons.. The world could always use more heroes! |

I 100%ed Gat Out of Hell in roughly 24 hours of gameplay. For a $20 standalone DLC, that ain't bad. |

Getting ever closer to Platinum God of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.
As it stands right now, I only have the following left to complete: -a handful of challenges -The Dark Room for Maggy -Hard Mode It Lives kills for all eleven characters -All of The Lost's runs -A few odds and ends I spent most of the night beating to do The Dark Room as Blue Baby, The Chest as Maggy, and failing continually to complete The Dark Room with Maggy. I keep getting screwed by my loadout, even after resetting the run until I find an item I want from the first treasure room and only if it spawns adjacently to the origin room. Fuck, I've even found Forget Me Now twice on Depths/Necropolis II and got both The Polaroid and The Negative... The only problem is that the way Maggy's seeding works makes it impossible to get her HP down easily. Even if you do, she's so goofy to use, it's too hard to avoid taking a million fucking damage. Hard Mode is gonna be FUN! |

I just played through Life is Strange episode 1 in one sitting, Christ is it a good game. I also took the time to look for every optional photo op and read through all of the bios. Seems like a pretty awesome start to a series.

I decided to start playing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker since I got it on Friday. I've already powered through the first two "books" and if I had to guess, I'm about a quarter of the way through the game with 100% completion so far.
I really don't know what to say about the game. I have very neutral feelings about it thus far. It's kinda neat, but at the same time, it's kinda monotonous. All I can say is that if it was a full $60 game, I would be severely unhappy with it. $40 isn't much better, but it could be worse. |

If my screenshot link in the clipboard thread hadn't tipped you off, The Sims 3. Seems like the reaper has a hit-list recently. Sims usually just expire from being too old in this neighbourhood. But now, the reaper seems to be sabotaging basic interactions, causing some deadly results. Like the TV that caught fire during a tinkering, followed by a starvation from a neighbour sim.. The world could always use more heroes! |
