Bad news: I wasn't able to upgrade Taryn (the name of my ThinkPad 600) from the 800x600 DSTN display to a 1024x768 TFT 
Good news: I have an even better machine now (a ThinkPad 380Z), with a 1024x768 screen and a built-in floppy and CD-ROM (will be putting in a DVD/CD-RW though  )"Miracles happen, when you believe..."

I really wish that my uni would close. Because it is HORRIBLY COLD out. Not much snow, but it's cold as balls out, to the point of it still being painfully cold in my legs when I'm wearing some fairly heavy sweatpants.
I'm kind of disappointed that, when writing this, I forgot to use the phrase "ᴍᴀssɪᴠᴇ ᴀʀᴄᴛɪᴄ ᴄᴏᴄᴋ" somewhere. I went and had those special characters generated for nothing! Ah well, better finish this paper for my Philosophy of Religion class. |

I don't think I said it here, I mentioned it on Facebook. But I decided to take a trade to become an HVAC Technician, the salary is great that's one of the reasons why I'm doing it. The second reason is that I want to move away from the Tri state area, I'm tired of the winter, I'm tired of the cold, and I'm tired of shoveling snow.
Don't get me wrong, I still wanna get into the entertainment industry with my cartoons. I still want to learn how to animate, and I still want to learn how to ink my cartoons too. I really need to learn how to ink my cartoons and eventually color 'em so I can write stories for my website. I have discovered, whoever selects the similar alternatives for products on Amazon, obvious forgets to check the specs in detail. There happens to be a non-dual band wireless card alongside some dual band ones. I ended up getting that one instead of a dual band one. Oh well, at least I *have* a wireless card for now. The world could always use more heroes! |
