I technically don't have an avatar, but my sidebar (full image here, and also for the benefit of future people) comes from this image I found on danbooru, cropped and with the contrast increased by 70% for dramatic effect.

Last view: 1978 days 		My new mood avatar. It's from Star Tropics. In Chapter 6, a lady on a small island asks Mike if he bananas in his ears. Then in Chapter 8, when Zoda threatens him on the space ship, the narration says: " * You stick bananas in your ears."

Thus, this artist's rendition of that moment. Even the weapon is right, since the retarded HP system resets you to three hearts, which is only good enough for the basic Star.
