I'm just curious, a lot of us love Nintendo right? So no matter how many games are your favorite on that system, which one/ones you always go back to to play? ____________________ Beacons.AI My Discord Server |

I enjoy thea hell outta PinBot. Really elaborate for a pinball game on the NES, and it's super easy to go back to whenever you feel like playing some pinball!
Of course I gotta include Super Mario Bros. 3. It's been with me throughout my life and has been the game whose design, frustrations, graphics, music, and gameplay that most imprinted on my childhood. I tell you, I had a fetish for hard NES games. Which was good since they were plentiful on that platform. Here are some of the others that I played the hell out of: Faxanadu ![]()

Super Mario Brothers 3. hands down. I mostly skipped the NES generation from Atari/C64 right to the SNES. I started with SMW and SMAS. However I did get an NES afterward. That was the game I played the most on both systems.
Runners up are: Super Mario Bros. 2 JP. It was so much fun to actually play and beat the Famicom Disk version. That game (SNES and FamiDisk Versions) ended up being the basis for Kafuka concept wise. Doki Doki Panic I mean come on. SMB2/USA but with slight changes? I did have blast playing it just to see what the source was like. Mega Man 6
SMB3 Legend of Zelda The Adventure of Link Startropics Zoda's Revenge Kirby's Adventure Now for the comment that will insight the lynch mob: Mega Man 2 is overrated garbage. The weapons are unbalanced, damage tables are fucked up, and SHUT UP ABOUT WILY 2 ALREADY! |

SMB3 and Ducktales comes to mind the two games I like the most.
Of course the huge problem with the Ducktales games is that they're super short even back then, and with how expensive games was back then I probably would feel a littled cheated to only have a few hours of gameplay from that game. But the platforming is solid and unique even today. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org, YouTube

Super Mario Bros. 3 - Of course, it's the best of the three (well, four if you count SMB2J/Lost Levels) NES Mario platformers Nice to see some of its powerups return in recent NSMB games too, heh
Kirby's Adventure - Kirby! What more could you ask for
Dragon Quest/Warrior IV - came out rather late in the NES' lifespan, but still good today... however if you're interested in DQ4 play the DS version instead "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

♥9175 ✿5047 ★52 Super Mario Bros. 2/USA is my favorite NES game, I'd say. Wouldn't dare say anything bad about SMB3, it's just that 2 is such a fun and adventurous game, the design of that game is perfect, and it's something I can always just pick up and play. Nostalgia helps too
Runners up include Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Bros 2j, Final Fantasy 3, Kid Icarus, Ai Senshi Nicol, Kirby's Adventure... wow this console had a lot of good games. |
