PC-88!
It's a Mario game!
And it's in a folder named "Poor man's version of SMB".

That can't be good.

While I can more or less play the X1 version, the PC-88 one is horrible. Even worse controls and screen going black instead of scrolling (I mean, Mappy and other games managed to have smooth scrolling on PC-88. There is no "Technical limitations" excuse here) are a killer.

Off to Sinnoh in Pokémon Platinum, probably my favorite region :D My Starly evolved recently, Turtwig isn't far off either... will be using Garchomp as a definite team member as well as Vaporeon (still a bit indecisive between Lucario, Dusknoir, Gardevoir/Gallade... I kinda don't want half my team weak to Ice :P)

Been playing Metal Gear Solid. I'm struggling to beat Metal Gear REX.

I beat the fucker once, but died at the same time as the boss with perfect timing before the cutscene triggered that segues into the fist fight with Liquid to have Campbell blubbering at my corpse through my codec.

To say my jimmies are rustled is an understatement. This should not be this hard on fucking NORMAL difficulty!

Playing Yoshi's Island GBA (taking a break from Pokémon for a while), needless to say, the smaller screen height gets annoying at times ;) Want to play some of my other GBA and DS RPGs, too (maybe revisit Dragon Quest V or something, using Nera or Debra instead of Bianca)

You should play through Golden Sun while you're at it. Great series, aside from Dark Dawn. That was the LEAST necessary sequel.

Aw, come on, from a business stance, Dark Dawn was perhaps not necessary but 100% logibahahahaha how many fans of Golden Sun were there even still at that time

But man, I am really strongly considering starting up another run of Chrono Trigger on the DS.

The sad part? Camelot was content to leave the story tucked away with the story ending with The Lost Age. This was the fans shrieking for a sequel that made them shit out that turd.

An odd example of the fans demanding an unnecessary sequel that ruins the series as opposed to executive meddling forcing the creator to keep making the series.

For the record: I was not in the camp that wanted Dark Dawn, but I was interested to see it when it was being released.

It's got nice art direction, but that's about it. The progression is a bit wonky and the Djinn spread is lobsided for a good chunk of the game. Sure, you get both of your Mercury adepts early, but they still don't give enough Djinn to have it where Matthew, Terrel, and Karis don't end up with a Mercury on them for a good chunk of the game.

Don't even get me started on the points of no return. All I will say is that one ruined the game for me because I missed a Jupiter Djinn behind one and there was NO INDICATION that leaving the dungeon after the boss meant I couldn't return.

I've been playing Romero's Aftermath it's free on Steam, not bad for a free zombie game I'm sure they'll keep updating it. ^_^

Been off and on with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Trying to find a transportation expert to upgrade my Fulton ability to vehicles, heavy weapons, and material crates because GMP growth is slow from missions as of yet and I know of a quick money exploit using one of the fairly early missions for its use of tanks.

That way I don't have to feel bad after I D rank a mission or otherwise end up in the red after clearing a mission.

Ah, Rule of Rose, an infamous Atlus title that had a very limited print run and goes for well over $200 on eBay ;) Tried playing it once, but couldn't really finish it :/

I've been playing a fair bit of Undertale lately. Like 20 hours of it last week. I've done the True Pacifist route and the No Mercy route, and by proxy of it being a necessity for the former, the "Spared everyone" neutral path.

Now for the hard part: seeing the endings where I kill everyone without triggering No Mercy, No Mercy where I leave it after each major boss, and all the neutral endings where I kill/spare different arrangements of the main cast.

This is gonna suck because every time, Sans just gets more and more upset about it, and I don't like needing to upset him. Everyone I follow on Twitter and such love Papyrus, but I'm more invested in the complexity of the chunky brother.

Been playing Pokemon Stadium and its sequel to prep for upcoming streams.

I was originally going to stream the whole game for both, but Round 1 just struck me as dull and toothless. So I powered through it on both and will be streaming Round 2.

I've already streamed Gym Leader Tower R2 of the first Stadium, and it will be cut up in a manner similar to my current let's play format to be uploaded as my Friday slot for the coming couple of months.

Provided my Patreon takes off, I may upload at a faster pace yet.

Began playing Xenoblade Chronicles X yesterday. Only real problem I have is that the text is too f*ing small. I have to sit even closer to the TV than I usually do. I'll see if I can get a screenshot later today.
