We tried to figure out a way to get him some money for a bus (he spent his money on a laptop that his stepfather recently smashed), but he'd need money to be able to get that money and he's also only 17 and... yeah. ~1200 miles because no freeway travel on a bike. $200 bus trip in less than 24 hours. $Life bike trip over the course of god knows how long. E: I've got him routed straight-line Texas to Ohio. It's 1100+ miles, straightforward, and includes zero states with bottle deposit laws. He's basically screwed. I could route him up to Iowa, but that's a detour that would add many extra miles... it'd be less than 100 miles more to go in a straight line... ... 
E2: The last destination I pointed him at was less than fifteen miles away. That was three hours ago... |

Assuming 1100 miles.. That'd take me around 60 or so hours worth of cycling at about my average speed.
That's a hell of a long trip. The world could always use more heroes! |

I've been wanting to get back to doing my Let's Plays on Youtube. I finally have the hardware I need to record from my consoles, and have been doing tests.
The difficult part now is trying to figure out what game to record first, and which of my existing LPs do I want to remove from my channel to redo in better quality. Finding the time to record is also going to be tricky. :/ |

I still wonder why half of tablets are so expensive at times. El-Cheapo "Who?" type brands are almost £200 cheaper than some of the recognisable brands..
But I don't trust a brand unless I can actually find out some info about them - which for a lot of things.. I can't. The world could always use more heroes! |
