My favorite emoji would probably be ABXD's :big:.
And uh, I hate iPhone emojis. I really like the Acmlmboard and ABXD ones over phpBB, Enjin, etc.  |

There should also be height and weight modifiers for emoji, instead of separate "Big Beautiful Woman" or "Tall Woman" emoji "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

I recall making a set of Acmlmboard-style Unicode emoji. I didn't color them or anything, but it was one big strip that had all the smileys in it. None of the other symbols like π― or anything. |

I too see squares, but only because Opera12 doesn't count that far. If I were to look in IE11... yup, those work.
Could always use that one CDN'd JS where you can automatically replace the characters with Twitter's images. |

Emoji, "picture character", commonly mistaken for "emotion/emoticon character". Related to kaomoji, "face characters". Emoji were introduced by Japanese cellphone carriers.
The only functional difference between ππ― and  are that one is a distinctly-encoded character and the other a particular sequence of 'em. In the end, both are either replaced by a colorful little image or not. It's quite easy to imagine/implement a thing where both "π―" and ":100:" both result in  , after all.
You can't tell me that there's any difference beyond implementation details, compatibility, and typeability between π and . They're both little faces with a particular exWhat I'm saying is that it doesn't matter much what you want to call them; you used two more regardless. |
