I am not playing it, nor do I plan to.

I have Showdown and XY/ORAS to tide me over until Sun and Moon drop in November if I really need a Pokemon fix. Assuming I'm even going to have money to buy them, given my prolonged unemployment.

My Campus is welcoming Pokemon Goers. Heck I've seen 5 or so separate tweets about it.

I play it while to and from work on the bus. Occasionally when I walk. I've yet to do any gym battles (to be honest I don't really feel the need to.)



Not really that into it though. Good for mass transit mind occupations though. :)

I initially thought the game was only for iOS, so I was going to reply with something along the lines of "The only iOS device I have is an old iPad 2 and I never use it due to extremely bad battery life".

Good thing I double checked before writing the reply.

In any case, even though I do have an Android phone, I simply don't plan on playing that game because... I generally don't use my phone to play games and I'm bad at Pokèmon anyway. >_>

Funny you should mention that. The first day or so of the game's release was for Android-only, the iOS version got released later.

The first day, there were already fake news reports of people getting mugged for their iPhone.

At my nephew's birthday party last weekend, some of the assorted mothers had PoGo. Knowing my sordid GBA past, one asked me why I didn't have PoGo. I said I doubt my phone can run it.

Later that day, when I'd returned home, I looked it up on the play store. Guess I was right. Took a screenshot and sent it over.

I have the game on right now. People are shocked that I still play. It gets me out and to new parks that I've never been before. That is, when I have access to the car.

Almost at level 29. Pissed that I don't have a Lapras yet.

I still play off and on.. but it's more like I am using to keep my mind occupied while riding the bus.

It took me forever but I got a Raichu even in the Pikachuless area like mine. I also want to get the Santa Raichu once I scrape together enough candies.
