Well...

Treasure of the Rudras for the SNES. Fanslation.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/58138281/Treasure%20of%20the%20Rudras%20-%20Boss%20%231%281%29.avi

That's a video of an early boss battle for those who are interested. I recorded it from within an emulator and it has some errors in it for some reason, mainly that the screen splits in two for brief moments.

I don't know how to make it watchable directly in the post from dropbox.

Sunset Overdrive.

I've been wanting to play this game since it first came out. But funds are low and I have to pick my games wisely.

Thankfully, being an Xbox Live Gold Member, I got the game for free last month.

Spiffy.

Controls are a bit out there, but I am enjoying it. Glad that I didn't spend the green for this game.

So far in the no-ability run of KSS DS, I have finished the 6 classic games (I actually took no damage in the final fight against Marx... the only trouble I had was losing a life to Twin Woods in both Milky Way Wishes and Revenge of MetaKnight due to bad luck with attack patterns... also lost a life to Wham Bam Rock in Great Cave Offensive because I forgot that using the L/R block doesn't stop the rocks from damaging you completely)

Now onto Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, still doing a no-ability run ;) (I couldn't decide between Kirby Squeak Squad, Amazing Mirror or Nightmare in Dreamland as all three are awesome games :D)

I'm playing Super smash bros. melee, because its a fun game to complete all characters and events. I'm also playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl as it has a huge adventure mode with characters in many cutscene which pretty nice. :)

This should come as a surprise to no one, but Final Fantasy XIV still.

I've been putting in a lot of effort the past few months. and here is a peek at my class levels.

Yellow is a maxed out level, blue names are specializations.

I started hitting my crafting hard when I moved back home. I started in April at Culinarian 50, the rest at 15! I have two alts at 30 in all crafts (can get to 45 easily, levequest allowances permitting).

My gathering classes were:
Miner 30
Botanist 50
Fisher 25

I've been pretty busy.

Just spent three hours trying to get though Palace of the Dead (Deep Dungeon) on FFXIV as my Arcanist. I decided to go as the DoT happy bookish nerd clss instead of Black Mage because I wanted to learn how to manage the class, how better to do it than do a dungeon that's recommended for parties of four by myself?

Palace of the Dead is a neat dungeon because when you start it, you get unleveled (not synced) to level 1 and you get to raise from that fresh start to 60. It's a really god way to learn a new class since you grow faster (albeit separately from when you're on the surface) and you get all of your skills at the same level you would in the main game, without the restriction of needing to do the class quests.

For reference, to gain level 2 on the surface in Eorzea, it takes 300 exp. In Deep Dungeon, it takes 15. It's balanced that mobs give flat exp based on their level (i.e the Fire Sprites are level 1 and give 9 exp, the Palace Deathmice are level 2 and give 13).

I don't think I could have survived the dungeon alone if I was any other class than Arcanist. Reason being that you have a pet you can summon starting at level 4. Emerald Carbuncle is a DPS aid, and really doesn't help much beyond pinging some more damage out. Instead, the MVP is Topaz Carbuncle, which you learn at 15. He's your tank pet (until you become a Summoner and get Titan-Egi), and he can soak hits for days.

The level 16 mob is Palace Hornet, and it's the same as the Temple Bees is Sunken Temple of Qarn and Devine Vespas in Neverreap, in that you hit them enough times and they enrage and kamikaze on your ass with an attack called Final Stinger that hits you like a train made out of trucks and killing the bee. If it hits your squishy ass, you're dead full stop. However, if Carby is at or near full HP, he can survive it and keep on trucking to the next mob in line.

I succeeded because of my pet.

TL;DR Topaz Carbuncle is a fucking badass.

I cannot beat the goddamn Great Cave Offensive >_> mostly because I can't find the exit to the Old Tower, and.. yeah, lack of motivation as well. Mostly because the Great Cave Offensive is plain annoying.
