1 inch is about 2.54cm. That works for most conversions, it takes a huge length conversion for the accuracy to falter though.. and I mean huge.

Hehe, I love how metric cup sizes tend to stray away from US/UK/AU ones because the latter goes by 1 inch (which is 2.54 cm), and the former goes by 2cm which is less :P (I suppose one reason bras aren't metric is because some women wouldn't like being a 90I instead of a 36F for example)
