Now we know what the NX (now the Switch) is, and the reports of it being handheld and home console mix are confirmed.

I'm pretty damn exicted.

Not to mention, in the game previews, I saw something similar to 3D World, but it looked more open world (and definitely different)

I'm hyped for whatever game that will be. Maybe it's Galaxy 3, who knows? :P

Either way, this system looks really sweet and I'm definitely getting it.


What do you guys think? Are you going to get it as soon as it comes out, or hold off?

Last view: 909 days 		I'm going to get it. Judging by the previews, it looks like NBA 2K17 will be there, so hopefully there's a Madden game.. I also saw a very interesting Mario preview. Maybe it's the 3D mario we fans have been waiting for, who knows.

Also cool preview of Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 ports. I'm sure there'll be a new mario kart, but looks like Splatoon is getting a port (I didn't get it. I might get it if there's new Splatfests and a good online)

I'm exited for what the releases have. Maybe we can get a mainstream Pokemon game on there instead of a spinoff, who knows?


Also hoping for either a new smash brothers or a port of it. Since my 3DS won't let me update Smash Bros. (i'll lose hacks and eShop won't work anyway), I can't play online. Hopefully I can if the game is released on the Switch.

Heh, I'll have to get used to not calling it the NX. :P

This thing looks very, very intriguing. If the Switch actually capitalizes on this potential and has some solid apps (like the rumored Pokemon Stars), I can see it being pretty rad little console.

Mostly same but gonna try to get it little before then, want to have Mario Kart, Splatoon (which I have never played, want to check that out), and Odyssey I think will be out around then, not sure if they gave an official release though

also, just curious, have anyone bought one yet? :o

Yeah and there's also the issues with the first production run (freezing issues, cards not reading, etc.) so it's a good idea to wait anyway :)

Not that good an idea. If not enough first-run units of a product are sold, you risk not getting a second run because well apparently it's not as hot as expected.
