I wonder what's harder to do. Or, more impossible. Making Firefox sane again, or making the posting experience fun again.

Hehe, reminds me of seeing those Windows XP style dialog box ads on Windows 98 computers or Macs back in the day ;)
Receiving that kind of ad on Windows 7 was no less baffling.
Thanks, Photobucket! (along with the ad that redirected me to another website as soon as it loaded)

I have screenshots of this, which are also hosted on Photobucket, but the website won't load for me at the moment. oof

I still use Firefox because I'm not a big Chrome fan ;) (used to use it for a while but switched back to Firefox :P)

I use Firefox... but also just forced myself to give in to Firefox's standard interface these days, don't want to rely on many add-ons and it's still better than Chrome...

I hate chrome, heh, crashes my whole computer (old one, not my current one) and it's just slow. Firefox is better, but it's too bad it's turning in to Chromefox.

I used to use Firefox quite some time ago, then switched to Opera once they started using the Blink engine (same as Chrome). I still miss a few features of Firefox (and some of the old Opera), but overall it's not that bad.

I can count the amount of times it crashed on my finger, and it's not like Firefox was much better with crashes from my experience, except for the fact you could restore the active tabs when it crashed and I can't do that anymore.

If I wasn't so careful and/or afraid, I'd install the latest Opera alongside the O12 I'm using right now.

For devtest purposes only, much like the IE11 I have.

I'm almost sure that, if you have Chrome to test web features, the new Opera isn't really needed because it behaves just like it (same prefix, -webkit-, and also a near identical user agent). I just use it because I like it more as a default browser.

You do have the latest version of Opera 12 right? They released a fix some time ago, v12.18.

I just generally dislike Chrome because it's too mainstream it's not a very attractive layout it has and Firefox has better functions (some ded now, hello Chromefox) like the option to change your layout (menu bar, the now "classic" theme, etc) and other cool stuff.

ANyone remember Firefox 3's layout? it was my personal favorite, haha, it works on Windows 2000, too :^)

I mean layouts that actually change the location of buttons and things, not themes

or am I missing something because I backed off of chrome a long while ago? :L

If you like Firefox, but don't want to put up with a new release every month, you can try the ESR version which updates the version number about once a year (or every 7 mainline releases) :) I use it on all my computers

Pretty much.

Except that you should probably not do what I'm currently doing.

I like my browser simple, no need for layouts for me.
