When I was very young, we had old Macs, and played games like Blobbo, Snood, Beetle Run, Akeyan, a Space Invaders clone, and some space game I can't remember the name of (all I have is vague memories of the gameplay, controlling a spaceship, dodging things that destroy it, attacking rocks or special shit...). Or we scribbled shit in the MSPaint type software -- I remember the possible fill patterns (grid, bricks, balls, etc) fascinated me.
We also had an old Mac at our grandparents' house. Fun fact, the monitor's power button was broken, requiring it to be held pressed or the monitor would turn off. The TV in that house suffered from the same problem, as if it was a curse. The Macs were eventually donated to the local school. After which we had nothing but PCs. Way later, I set up a Mac emulator out of nostalgia. Some of the games I remembered have PC versions, but Blobbo doesn't. ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |
