I agree with the title too. FFVII is a decent game, but it doesn't deserve the veritable buckets of jizz fans pump all over it every time it comes up. Cloud's an angsty, walking existential crisis. Sephiroth is a whiny little mama's boy bitch. However, you ask any fan of the game and they'll gush over how unearnedly badass they were made out to be in Kingdom Hearts.

They're supposed to be the same characters, but the Kingdom Hearts writers kinda missed the mark. Doesn't help that the original FFVII didn't get the greatest translation.
