It seems to cause the forum to think that you'd double-post if making a post in another tab and trying to post that. Even if it's in a different thread.

Maybe it gets confused if you edit, then try to post in the same thread because it updates the "Most recent post" status. Only thing I can think.

our friend Squidgirl made editpost.php update the thread's lastpost data regardless of where the post is in the thread.

I knew it was wrong, but I didn't think it would cause this kind of shit.

I think a scenario like this is the only way this would have ever been an issue.

Other threads aren't active enough with so few posters for an edit to throw a spanner in the works.
