If you tried to put my example of "Supreme Overlord of the Vanilla Space Monkeys" in.. you'd get "Supreme Overlord of the V" :@

Then again, if there wasn't a limit. Wouldn't some ass just hold down "W" to stretch everything? >_>
'cause even with the limit, "WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" is pretty damn long.
