Posted by Dani ★ Absolutely. The real question is how to do it, and I say empathy is the order of the day. From what I see, most people have strong opinions and are either angry or scared, but are still somewhat open to some sort of dialogue. A few people will certainly just be too hostile to listen, but I'm convinced that the vast majority will. Anger and violence don't work. Marches and peaceful protests are great and all, but they aren't enough anymore. People's minds must change, and that takes conversation, respect for each other, and plenty of patience. |
