Not sure how many of us are here, but this is for everything pro wrestling related. WWE, NXT, TNA, ROH, New Japan, Lucha Underground, and beyond!

As of this post, WWE's TLC pay per view is this weekend, and it's looking pretty good so far. The Wyatt Family is in dire need of a tag title win right now. Any expectations for the show?

I haven't watched wrestling in...maybe a decade? I've been to a few live shows in the past, PPVs and such.

Now isn't a bad time to check it out again. They're focusing a lot more on in-ring talent lately, and Smackdown has been consistently good week after week.

Plus, the WWE network usually gives new subscribers the first month free to try it out, though you may want to save it for Janurary so you can check out the Royal Rumble for free. Someone might be planning something special for that event. *hint hint*

I recently cancelled my WWE Network subscription, though I might get it again, who knows.

The TLC build has been pretty good; the Carmella v. Nikki Bella match should be good, I've enjoyed this feud (funny how awful Carmella was as a face on Smackdown)

From what I've been hearing, Shinsuke Nakamura just beat Samoa Joe for the NXT Title at a show in Japan.

If you've never seen Nakamura, you really should. He's easily my favorite wrestler going today, and he (along with most of the NXT brand) is almost worth the price of the network alone.

Nakamura...hmm...yes...yes...But you also should check out the Bullet Club, namely A.J. Styles and Kenny Omega. But Omega more for at least me.

I think everyone knows the Bullet Club at this point. :)

Speaking of which, have you seen Kenny Omega's match with Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 11? People are already calling it match of the year.

No I haven't, but I've seen the match between Kenny Omega vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi. My favorite Japanese wrestling team would have to be Los Ingobernables, specifically Naito...Or Evil, whatever. It's not exactly easy to watch New Japan Pro Wrestling 'cause my parents don't like it that much and they want the channel changed. When they do I have to wait until at least 12 in the morning but then I'm asleep. :(

Well, the WWE's Royal Rumble is coming up, and my friends always make a game of it every year. It's basically a prediction pool, and they're opening it up to more people and even offering a prize for the winner!

If you're on Facebook, check it out here.

Basically, there's 3 main rules:

1) Pick three numbers, 1-30, and the name of the person you think wins the match.
2) The wrestlers that come out at those numbers earn you 1 point per eliminations, 3 points if they win, and 2 points if you predict the winner.
3) The player with the most points at the end of the night wins.

If you're interested, I highly recommend giving it a try. It makes an already awesome event the most exciting match of the year.

Saw the match with Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada. I was hoping Omega would win. Ah, well maybe next time.

Assuming there is a next time. But popular opinion says that if Kenny stays with New Japan, he'll get the title within the next few months or so.

Also, the WWE's United Kingdom Championship Tournament just finished tonight, and it didn't dissapoint. Plus, it was my first time seeing what Tommy End could do. He made a fan out of me. :)

No, but his mask does look pretty similar to Lince Dorado's mask, if you're into that.

Who are the top mischief-making wrestlers of them all? It's funner to watch it's not a proper match. :)

That's a good question. If you're talking about comedy spots and matches, they are a bit rarer in wrestling, since most promotions are going for a certain vibe. Chikara tends to be a bit brighter and more family friendly, so they tend to do that stuff more with guys like Chuck Taylor and Ultramantis Black (who just recently retired). And don't even get me started on stuff like Kaiju Big Battel and Hoodslam...

Elsewhere on the indies, guys like Colt Cabana and Kenny Omega have been known to go to the funny side, and "Broken" Matt Hardy had a breakout 2016 making some of the craziest stuff in wrestling today.

Well, it finally happened. My boy Bray Wyatt finally won the WWE Championship last night at Elimination Chamber.

Everyone involved in the chamber match itself, from Cena to AJ to Corbin and beyond, all put on a clinic in what was easily the match of the night. A definite must see if you're a wrestling fan, even more if you think Bray was overdue.
