Don't regret it, not one bit. At the time I felt a bit dirty, but that was probably good old fashioned guilt heaping Catholic upbringing at work, which I have more or less shed at this point. |

Posted by DahrkDaiz You spoke too soon . Also, they're somewhat different ways of thinking about software. People that are much more interested in the guts of how things tick would be likely to have a grasp of both. That is, a tinkering mentality. These days especially you can write lots of high level code without ever thinking about what's going on under the hood. Personally, I've really grown to find ASM tiresome, and long for more abstraction when possible. |
