I have my team planned, I just have to implement it.
I think we should get a few matches started at some point soon, otherwise this is just going to stagnate. I'll work up a bracket some time and get a tourney started. I think our first tourney should just be unthemed, that way we can see how everyone fares without any restrictions... Aside from what we agreed is banned, of course. |

Music? I think that's all you need to do. Not sure, though, I mute it since it always randomizes to the more annoying battle themes.
IVs work just like they would normally. Assigned 0-31 and added to the stat based on level ratio to 100. EVs are handled the same, except that it's based on 255 max per stat, divided by four with an overall total of 510 EV points. |

I don't see why anyone wouldn't do that since there isn't any reason to not use perfect IVs, aside from a set requiring it for Hidden Power or something else along those lines. |

I was planning to randomize it with a judgment call on if the person needs it or not. There are some of you I'd like to see do battle, and I certainly don't want the bye, myself.

I think it's safe to mention that @Emuz has brought the Mosts up in the Super Secret Staff Area, but nothing has really come of it...

This will be a double elimination tournament! So even if you lose, you will still have a chance at placing in second or third! Prizes are still in the works, but I will have something worked out by the end.

I did it that way for two reasons: One, he's currently banned and can't post right now, so I'll have the log automatically. Two, I wanted to personally test him without running the risk of him losing to anyone else before he reached me.
Should he not see this by the time the deadline comes up, I will battle @Aesur instead and make it a truncated tournament. |

Meh, I don't care for mint all that much. I used to love spearmint until I found where a patch was growing and ate half of it in one sitting... I think the subsequent stomach ache had something to do with it. |

I was play testing my Open Tourney party on Pokemon Online and had to laugh at one of my test subjects (I was doing random battles, so I wasn't picking the poor saps out)... He had a Dream World sun team, lead by Ninetales. The funny thing was: I used his sun against him.
I did nothing out of the ordinary from my strategy, except take advantage of the sun by using [Fire-type's name withheld until Round 1 is over] to use [stating the move will give it away] to absolutely destroy his Sun-Team-That-Was-Heavily-Weak-to-Fire. Seriously, I expected to have trouble past using Destiny Bond to kill off his Ninetales... What I wasn't expecting was Forretress into Venusaur into ragequit. |
