Posted by SquidEmpressOoooh, this is a good one, because I'm not 100% sure. There's a lot of features that are pretty useless -- the L and R button functions of Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen have always struck me as pretty dumb, for example -- but it would take a lot of doing to choose one thats the most useless in any definitive manner. Not counting hint services (rendered obsolete by the existence of guides) and things that literally do nothing, I... may actually still be incline to respond with one of the hints from one of the Donkey Kong Country games about K. Rool in said game, because it literally tells you nothing of use, suggesting that you have plenty of lives. So basically it's just a coin-eating service when that has no relevant purpose whatsoever except to get you angry at Rare. Dafuq. I came pretty close to answering "any tutorial that tells you to use the control pad... or stick... or whatever it is on the console to choose/select something" (like some of the tutorials in Fire Emblem 7), but that's not really the same. That's less useless and more patronizing. At that point, the game may as well just hold the controller for you, but it's not really the same. Posted by skyluigiNot likely. That takes a lot of time, effort, and money. |

Posted by SquidEmpressLooking at the overall results, yeah, I think that Rare should have stayed with Nintendo. Now, don't get me wrong, it's still possible that Rare could have nose-dived under Nintendo, too, but we'll never know now, will we? Especially since MS kinda husked Rare out. I guess at least Nintendo has Retro now, which is kinda like Rare V2, I guess. Posted by skyluigiProbably not, but I'd look pretty cool in that uniform. |

Posted by KaenaI like both. New Phyrexia has a lot more to it that leans, I guess, "signature" -- more blatant iconography, more (arguably) uniform design - whereas old Phyrexia still had some really neat stuff to it. A lot of the Urza's Block art has a really neat aesthetic to it, in my opinion, like Negator, which honestly is a lot creepier with its original artwork than the one for the Duel Deck. Though I still don't know what the fuck is up with the Antiquities Yawgmoth Demon. |

I finally have started on Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea, an indie RPG that I've been meaning to play for a while now.
So far, it is really, really easy. |

I don't necessarily have the attention span for something that organized, but I like the idea and all. |

Posted by skyluigiAfter this one, its floating somewhere around 193 for me, I can tell you that. Posted by SquidEmpressI guess? I mean, I joke that I'm "like, twelve" a lot. My use of twelve that time was kind of randomly-selected, so maybe it is a favorite? Unlike dice or random number generators or whatever, I do have a personality, meaning that some numbers are (un?)naturally weighted compared to others. Posted by skyluigiThat would be a bad idea. Why would you do that? |

Sometimes I worry that it's hard for people to tell when I'm being serious and/or how serious I'm being at any given moment.
For example, on one board I posted something to the effect of "when you buy digital music, you are buying COMMUNISM". We had some laughs about it, but I really don't like purchasing digital music and would rather buy a hard copy. But I'm kinda leaning off-topic. |

The big issue is that there are a lot of irregular forms in English grammar.
Which kind of applies to every other language, I think. |

Not to mention, since most computers still have optical media drives, it's not too hard to achieve the portability of digital music. Also, I would much rather have the manual in physical form for many discs -- I don't know how much better it's gotten in recent years, but back around 2008 (I think, it was before I moved out to where I live now), the only artist I saw on iTunes that had digital versions of the inserts with their music was Metallica. Depending on the artist, those inserts can have some pretty neat art and such, so they're fun to look at. I've had various quantities of minimal success digging many of those up on Google Image Search. There's also some pretty interesting special items out there, like this album that came in a pseudo-LP sleeve. |

Posted by SquidEmpressThat's true. Compare it to something like German, where every vowel sound is pronounced the same -- "ei" is always going to be pronounced like a long I (ī) in English -- eins (īns), zwei (tsvī), drei (drī), reisen ( Posted by skyluigiAccent marks -- e.g. the mark over the e in é, or the u in ü.Posted by SquidEmpress (fun fact: ü is technically the symbol referred to by the term "Umlaut," not every vowel with the two-dot diacritic mark (diaeresis is the exact term in this case), nor just the mark itself) |

Posted by skyluigiUltimately, that all depends where you go. I got the above item at a used shop for $10 US. Which, if I recall correctly, is what most things cost on iTunes.Posted by Phyresis Actually, I looked it up, and the album is $9 on iTunes. So, not a huge gap. And also, keep in mind, you are paying extra to have the physical object |

Alternately, newer text editors can be adjusted to assign them to a combination of keys -- some of them I think already can be added that way. Alternately, a new language option for keyboards can be created that enables you to add diacritics no matter what you're editing in. |
