The sequel, yeah, but not the first one.

Did you hold the down button when standing on a white block and go backstage?

Or fly to the door hidden above the ceiling?

Danicess was working on one shortly after the game came out. There were a bunch of us lined up to play it and she was going to have storylines and everything but it never got finished. I like to think that she just spent a good 9 years working hard on it, making it highly polished.

One of these days....

As usual, I'm bouncing around from title to title but for the most part I've been playing:

Dark Souls: Easily game of the year in my book. It's equally as awesome as the first one and even though the open world is amazingly designed, I still slightly prefer the "level" system the last one had. There was all this hype about how it was supposed to be much harder than Demon's but so far I've found it to be on par, more or less. It's not so much "difficult" as it is unforgiving and I think there's a distinct difference.

VVVVVV: This game hyper-owns. I love to Atari inspired graphics and it has a kickass soundtrack to it. I'm only about an hour into it so far but it seems like it's going to be a short game. The game mechanics are simple and fun, which is perfect.

Castlevania Harmony of Despair: I don't know if it's my internet or just the fact that no one plays it, but I can never find anyone online during any time period. It's pretty fun single player but it was obviously meant to be played with more than one person.

Skyward Sword: I think I'm actually done with this game. What a colossal letdown. Even more handholding than previous Zelda games and Fi comes off as even more annoying than Navi was. And the backtracking, my god the backtracking...

I wouldn't say it's a "bad" game by any means but it's easily the weakest 3D Zelda game to date.

Kirby's Return to DreamLand: Probably the best Wii game to come out this year (We don't have Xenoblade yet) with Nintendo's most consistently good franchise. It's still as easy as the others but they were purposely designed that way but the gameplay is still top-notch and some of the time trials are actually pretty difficult.

Mario Kart 7: Why do I keep falling for this series? The rubberbanding AI is back yet AGAIN. Why?!

Super Mario 3D Land: This game rules. I don't play it in 3D (or any 3DS game for that matter) but it looks and plays great without it regardless. It's nice to be playing semi-sidescrolling airship levels again.

Deus Ex HR was great but wasn't perfect, as opposed to Dark Souls.

I actually played through HR twice because I liked it that much, which is a rare thing for me to do with most new games these days.

I really don't mind the rubberbanding so much in multiplayer, as it keeps things interesting, but when I'm forced to unlock characters in 150cc it becomes a huge pain in the ass.

They should have just done it like they did with SSBB. You can either unlock characters by playing a lot of the single player campaign or you can skip to multiplayer and do it that way. It gave you an option instead of forcing you to trog through a portion of the game which you might not enjoy.

Next month will be 11 years for me. I don't know whether to be proud or horribly depressed.

I've been in the Air Force for going on 11 years now as an aircraft weapons technician. It sucks, so I'm getting out next year to pursue my lifelong dream of making novelty over-sized pretzels.

This shouldn't be too hard to implement since other boards out there have it, but when you click on a thread you've viewed prior, it should drop down to the newest post ID rather than having you scroll down and manually finding it.

I'm going to start a clique on this board called "The Circle of Jerks". Who wants in? Let's bring the ruckus.

You know I'm always there, Legion.

When I get done downloading this thing I'm downloading, I'm going to dig up an old picture of you that's been aging away on my old Angelfire account and I'm gonna post it here!

Where did you get my autographed copy of the board? I only produced five of those and circulated them among my closest friends...

I think it would be a little creepy if I still had them actually. I deleted them immediately out of legal fear.

I've oft wondered this. I just say "em ar jay ess bee oh oh tee why bee you tee tee em kay eye vee". I heard that some people try to actually sound it out, though. (wtf???)

Also, which version is canon? mistah_j or mistah j? Because in irc you have to use the underscore but was it always there when he joined the board?
