I had a 1.92 board years ago that i and a few friends ended up almost entirely rewriting the code of in fact we ended up calling it 1.92.B or 1.92.A to separate our version a little bit from the others but even then ours was full of bugs but at least the security was semi decent ____________________ |

Posted by Emuz I know it which is why we focused so much on it. I have seen some of them and it reminds me a lot of the Free Software/open source and GNU/Linux Stuff Ours externally was very similar to the original 1.92 but internally became very different largely because of the code rewrites and new features we were trying to add ____________________ |

Posted by Emuz It was so much easier when we decided to do that rather than just try to patch it Also If it wasn't for a hard drive crash (had the code backup ) and a septic tank (drainage pipe froze) back up frying my server which was a really old PC) I/we would have most likely be able to fix & release the code and possibly made certain recent AcmlmBoard projects unnecessary ____________________ |

Posted by Squiddy Everything is bad for your health these days. Not to mention the reason i drink regular pop/soda is because some studies have proven that Diet Soda/Pop is actually worse for your health than regular especially the Soda/pop made with synthetic sugar ____________________ |

i heard from a friend just now that that the people who run php and are the primary developers of it are FINALLY working on creating a formal PHP specification.
with that in my i think if yout thinking of doing a recode i would possibly wait until the final specs of php are released so you could possibly create a final version of it before moving on so to speak. ____________________ |

Posted by Squiddy ok fair enough i thought you were going keep thins update until version 2.9 or 2.99 and the recode would be 3.0 ____________________ |

Posted by Squiddy most of it was profile stuff such as visitor messages, profile customization ( similar to vBulletin) we also had notifications for users like when there post was quoted. we were planning on custom forum themes as well where you could choose colors and pic for it similar to how custom profiles worked. most of this is probably stuff you guys could are less about ____________________ |

Playing Pokemon Omega Ruby right now and i can say while its not the greatest remake or even game in the series. I can say with certainty i like many of the concepts they introduced and hope there used in future titles ____________________ |
