Hello! My name is Q. You may or may not know me from elsewhere and/or under a different name.
I've heard about Kafuka for quite some time now, so I thought I was overdue for actually participating. I don't really know what to say about myself, but I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay! |

I've recently been playing through the original Mother, otherwise known as EarthBound Beginnings. After playing the sequels multiple times over the years, I figured I should give it a fair shot.
It unfortunately doesn't live up to either of its sequels in terms of charm or game design, but it has enough of a surreal atmosphere and subtle humor to keep it interesting despite its flaws. I'm coming up to Mt. Itoi now, so there's not all that much left to go. |

Do try to make more local friends. A lot of KP9000's dating advice works just as well for just making friends, and having local friends to go out and do things with is a very good motivator to not stay at home all the time.
By meeting new people and trying new things out with them, you'll surely experience a lot of new things you otherwise would have never come across. Of course, not every new experience will be enjoyable, and not every new friend will be a good friend, but if you keep at it, you'll surely find something that's worth it to you. |

Technical limitations are definitely a big issue with this medium. GIF is both the format that I'm most familiar with and is most accessible, so I tend to prefer working with it despite its color limitations and bloated file sizes. APNG and other formats would definitely present these animations better, but they're rarely supported and much harder to distribute. Until the GIF format gets phased out, I'm going to continue working with it. I'll take the issues that go with it as a challenge! |

One of my cats who ran away a couple of months ago was finally caught and returned to us, and I couldn't be happier! |

Yeah, I understand that my gifs can be pretty straining on the eyes. I make sure to tag each one with an epilepsy warning just in case.
I'm glad you like them, though! Everything on there has been made with Photoshop, but I'm looking into working with Processing in the future. |

We have a lot of museums in my home town. They're really neat, and I definitely enjoy visiting them! I used to go to the local natural history museum all the time when I was a kid.
Aquariums and zoos are also very enjoyable for some time out by yourself, but they're fun with friends too. c: |
