when i first joined in march of 2001 i was 12. now look at me, i'm a GODDAMNED ADULT. I remember that the thing i saw posted on here was the original ALL YOUR BASE flash. hard to believe that's been around over a decade.

I was thinking about making a similar thread to this--cause i've been rather curious what the oldbies have done/been doing for the past ~10 years.

as for me, i got an associates degree in interior design around 2008 and since then i've been working at Whole Foods Market, working in the kitchen making food all day long.

i actually just recently built a new tower...

AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor
GIGABYTE GA-880GM-USB3 AM3+ AMD 880G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
XFX Double D HD-695X-CDFC Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 (such an upgrade from my old card)
this ram is left over from my old machine, as is this 700W power supply (going to buy new ram soon, and probably a modular power supply for less clutter)
and this little guy is the case. (this is the old case)

this is my first time going with the mATX set up, typically have built full sized rigs. but i'm very happy with it.
currently no CD drive cause my old one was still IDE and the new mother board didn't have any IDE spots, OOPS.

that only leaves just the 1TB hardrive, and my monitor set up can be seen here

hmm, well i'm living with one of my best friends now, which is pretty legit. the living room in the apartment is a good sized living room, so its nice to not cramp into a small area when guests are over. we're on the third floor, which has its ups and downs (no pun intended)

i guess the other thing i like about it is pretty much all the furniture and things in the kitchen are mine, so when i move out everything is coming with me, and i won't have to buy anything
