It's probably for the best I never used that place back then, I would've fucking embarrassed myself. I mean, when the thing was around my age still consisted of a single digit. Posted by Danika I have a lot of fond memories of Newgrounds, personally. All those awful animations and games, they were so amazing to me at the time. Nowadays, whenever the internet has any sort of "low quality" type content, it's usually some form of irony. I sort of miss when lower quality stuff was more on the forefront, and wasn't so focused on irony. In general, what always fascinated me about the internet from a young age was how it gave a platform for anyone to post their creations and express themselves, regardless of who they are, and to be able to find some level of community within it. Posted by DarkWitchClaire ... I'd find it harder to find things not annoying about YouTube in its current state, so that's a difficult one. I don't like how the site has changed its overall UI over the years. It's so unpleasant to use now. Everything is unnecessarily big, the actual video uploading tools feel more confusing and unintuitive relative to what they used to be, and above all I really miss the older look of channels. I remember when channels used to have their own backgrounds, making each one feel more personalized, like its own website or something. Now all channels have the same old layout.
