Hello, i registered to ths site just to reply to this thread about acmlm board being down. Yes it's gone down 3 seperate timies in the past month.
Acmlm board is the most popular of all these board variants for megaman romhacking, I post there most frequently in "general megaman hacking thread" so that's always been my perfered "acmlm board" type. I had to use "way back machine" to view blackhole's profile and he had an email contact there: http://web.archive.org/web/20180819150628/http://acmlm.kafuka.org/board/profile.php?id=4 I emailed him the fiirst time it went down, and he said he had no clue that it ever happened since he was busy with other things i guess. So he brought it back up, but it went down again just a few days later. So tried asking again, he said that... maybe the sever has a problem with the power supply or...something hardware related and that he'll have to contact his server datacenter tech guys. He brought it back the 2nd time, and it was only up for just 1 week ...went down again for a 3rd time on July 13.  I tried once again.
And...i havent ever got a reply since after july 13. so it's still down since July 13...i dont know if he's ignoring me or what. but im very depressed...i want acmlm board back.  |

I seriously hope not... he thinks it is a crash of some kind, at least what he said anyway. But he's not ever contacted his server host about it yet
i was curious why Internet Explorer always shows the IP Address at the bottom of the screen now instead of the actual website ...so i google'd it, and it seems to be based in Germany. I dont know if that means anything specific or not.
I dont have a clue how much these acmlm boards cost personally, but I'll seriously donate money to help out, if he'll accept it. Next time i try to ask soon. |

i've tried again since it's been a week after googie got a reply... but same as usual... still no reply... still being ignored... still not back up for an entire month.
Robbie Rage - The romhacking boards were still always active. There was good projects people had going on. Synthetik (dont know right spelling) was posting about a big Genesis Megaman Wily Wars hack he was doing -- someone (dont remember name) was posting screenshots every now and then about a cool NES Castlevania hack they were doing like "castlevania cadoence" or somethinig i dont remember what it was called And lots of people still post in the General Megaman Hacking thread which i try to help people out there when possible (usually when there's mm3 related questions since i only have the most experience with that one) |

would another person be able to try emailing him ?? im getting real tired of not ever getting a response. just view the earlier post to see the email via the waybackmachine archived profile page.

Sorry for this "double post" but I have a very serious question to ask...considering i can never get any reply from him
** Is the "server cost" ..monthly or yearly (i have no clue), money being wasted while it's down like this for almost 2 whole months ?? ** Is it going to eventually redirect to one of these "domain for sale" types of websites or... some random search engine if he doesnt do anything soon ??
Cause thats what usually happens when a site doesnt exist anymore. Usually the search engine is from my own Internet Service Provider -- not bing, yahoo, google/etc. I pray to god that doesnt happen...but thats what im seriously fearing now ...and it doesnt ever come up in google searches whatsoever period now (been that way over a month though) ...trying "board 2" "acmlm board" .. "acmlm board 2" ...nothing ever comes up now. |

well.. thats good to know at the very least about it not being lost, epele. I'm still curious about the 1st thing too
And i have been trying to be patient, K.T.B. - honestly..It's been so darn fustrating. it's gotten to be pretty hard to keep calm now after saying he would get to it (contact host) originally back in late June ..just how much longer am i expcted to keep waiting. |

what googie said, yea. Some people had their projects dicussions only there, still updating them, and not anywhere else as far as i'm aware. I was super interested in this one guy's Genesis hack that was going. But i cant view them now because waybackmachine only goes up to 2018.. or 2016 in some cases. No way to tell what he's up to
And i was always helping people with megaman 3 questions in the megaman general hacking thread, sometimes i can help with mm4 or 5 too. there's no where else, not romhacking.net forums even that has as much activity in the megaman romhacking world/community, compared to acmlm board. |

hey guys, acmlm board finally came back up sometime last night! it's finally back after 3 months.  i was quite worried that it just never would of. Even the 2 "archive" sites are working again too even. |
