I think it's possible to look up timezones through user IP's though, which can be used for making it suggest and mark a timezone for you. That would help as well, even if it wouldn't be always accurate (I used to be on a IP reported as being within Netherlands ).

Yep we had that within Sweden too, we called it "Fångarna på fortet" basically "Prisoners in the fortress". I had fond memories watching that, though it eventually got stale after a few years before it was replaced by reality shows. :/

Netbooks are awesome. Nobody seems to know or care that a 2009 netbook easily outperforms the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Apple iPad 2 and even the Asus Transformer Prime, people are all blinded by OOOH SHINY

Netbooks are pretty popular amongst the average user crowd here. Most people are happy enough with surfing and using simple applications, and don't need big beefy CPU/GPU for their tasks.

A childhood friend of a father got a computer i messed with, it being a IBM PC compatible clone is all I remember honestly. And then there was the UNIX based computers at my dads work too.

My first PC was a Compaq Presario 486. It looks almost exactly similar to this image. To my own amusement, Compaq kept some typical things i saw with the 486 up until their end, such as the "read the manual" warning above the keybuttons. OS was Win 3.1 but we used Win95 for most of it's lifetime, I think I used it up until 2002'ish or so.

There was a storm with the same name as me today and yesterday, still raging on actually.

No snow but i'm not sure if that's good or bad. Snow tend to be nice the first few days, then annoying the rest of the winter.

I'd imagine actually not maximizing my browser if I was using widescreen as well. I find Widescreen monitors a little awkward to surf on, while still very nice for a lot of other tasks. :p

I seen Home Alone 3. Not even redeeming in the "so bad it's good category". It's just dull and dumb. And I see that the Home Alone 4 poster is like a flandizeration of the earlier movies.

Pretty much actually. A vote system is useful on large sites like Slashdot/Reedit/Digg where you need some sort of user moderation system to separate the crap from the gold. Those systems tend to be unnecessary on smaller forums where a team of staff members wouldn't be overwhelmed by trolls etc.

I don't think a +1 system hurts though and can be fun to keep, just not really necessary.

acs.php is infact still there, although I cannot promise it's without bugs.

acs.php was programmed to ignore certain forums, and easy mode is basically "turn off ignore mode".

No forums should be ignored now though, so that option is now pointless.

Can anyone check if acs.php is hardcoded to ignore certain forums or whenever that is a database query?

Probably could as well comment out the ignore/easy mode thing for now.
