Add me to the list of those who made Anya Syndrome; I got it on Jul three years ago.
Those who would remember me would know me as FirePhoenix from very late I3, beginning Board2 era. I quickly went to Jul afterwards. Man, it's been a long time that I've been around these boards and I know it's not even half of what some of you guys have done. Just decided to drop on by and say hello. |

But anyways I've been spending recent months over on SomethingAwful being a goony goon, as well as continuing to magically hold onto my staff position on SMWCentral. I'm still around Jul though not very actively. I'm also at another Acmlm's splinter, Neo Grape Gardens, primarily for the RP stories.
Got a part-time job, going back to school full time this fall. Trying to make things work out for myself. |

College stopped happening a year ago. I'm starting over at a community college now and actually working towards the major I ACTUALLY want as opposed to one I turned out to not be interested in at the end.
The major is Game Design, before you ask. |

My latest hacking attempts have actually been SMW based. Drawing my own tilesets and slowly making levels. Very slowly. I guess that's just my pace when there's nothing but simple self-motivation as the main motivating factor. I'm sure I'd work faster, better, more effectively if I was in an actual career situation.
I'm tossing around the idea of trying Super Metroid again once SMILE and its new authors put out some newer, more user-friendly versions. The lack of user-friendliness was the biggest thing that annoyed me back then. |
