Eventually, maybe in 2.6 or 2.6.1, there will be ways of increasing the rate of certain rare sprites and possibly revealing ones that can only show under certain circumstances. Perhaps have ones that usually only show on a certain day of a week or month. Might be something interesting and dynamic. 
Not to mention a few systems such as the RPG and badge system coming together for certain purposes. Catch something here, might see results in another. That sort of thing. |

If only I had that sprite rarity 50% increase badge from 2.6. I'd have Mew twice over by now! Haha. (Actually it'd only be Mew twice over if you illegitimately got a 80% one but who's counting?) |

Not on this board. However, 2.6 does have it adjusted.
2.6 seems to be 30% more often or something like that. Then again, I am using a test badge that allows me more chance. |
