From what I can tell, SOPA is currently shelved, but will be brought back up in February without the DNS provisions.

Looking at it again.. almost makes me think the US law is trying to evolve into world law. :/

The SOPA/PIPA pages weren't blacked out anyhow. Otherwise, disabling javascript in your browser (if you're given the option) works wonders.
