I've not updated for a while now, I have been using the dolphin 3.000 revisions, I play super mario galaxy 2 on it, its really smooth (48-55 FPS) I just checked out the 4.000 revisions I must say, they are nasty, slow, some graphical errors-black pixels with no graphical settings changed(Oh the pain and agony!! My eyes it burns!), horrible sound like they are down grading, the only noticeable improvement is the that you can use the mouse as the motion of the wii-mote, oh well. I have a nun chuk and I don't think any one will ever take that seriously, so I just checked out SMG2 on dolphin 4.000 versions (24-30) fps, delete delete delete! The fastest version of dolphin in my wisdom should be 3.5, what is your opinion? |

Posted by smirkogm CPU hard ware strength and speed is irrelevant if you use 4.0 .I'd recommend the 3.5 and scale the EFB to texture or disable it, that'd get you 30 fps. |

Posted by NinaPosted by CacklettaI'm not too sure what you mean. This runs at full speed most of the time for me. (Yay, accidentally forgot to record the sound)Posted by smirkogm Forgot to record sound or recorded the slow video and increased the fps with a program like virtual dub, I won't believe you until you record with sound. |

Scale the EFB to Texture or disable it and ignore format changes option. |

Thought I'd post my project here.
Been working on JRI for some while now and decided to show some progress. The music I'm going to use will be songs of storm as it will be based off Great Sea from Wind Waker or SSBB and little of Crash Bandicoot. I plan on making it rain and adding a fake animated thunder some where in the sky(I drew the texture) like how I animated the muncher I posted sometime ago with some little behaviour scripting and F3D. Anyways, time to see some screen shots. Look, I added a waterfall! And you can actually FEEL it flowing on the mesh. Mario on the top of the mast. From the mast you can get to another area, I'm still gonna give my ship a makeover. A building! What more can I say? And don't worry about the little overshading, I'll fix it. Some little platforms that aid you on getting to the building. In the building's mouth, I plan on adding some fire to make a torch, Also found a really easy way to vertex color which is talking the particular face I want to color and exporting only it, importing it to the and looking at the vertex data and copying it then CTRL+F ing it in the whole level data, anyways, I'll color that part of it to a little orange to show some fire light. A view of the yet incomplete Jolly Rodger Island(JRI) from the top. An unreachable area with a house and a bridge and some trees, I think making stuffs at unreachable adds some life and detail. That's all for now, can I get some feedback and constructive criticism so I improve more? |
