I think most of us know what SOPA is, and what it's about. It is Bill before the US Congress that is designed to give copyright holder more power in protecting their IP. In reality it is more in line with internet censorship in the US using DNS blacklisting, legally enforced removals from all search engines and an easier way to prosecute even the smallist of violations.

While there are holes in the way they plan to go about it, it's still going to take a lot of what makes the internet away; It's freedom. The other thing is this wouldn't just effect the US, but everyone. Some of the possible mesures discussed could lead to Root domain level blocks.

I just read an article from OSnews that says Google, Facebook, Amazon, and potentially others are plaining on shutting down/limiting their services on the day of the vote.

What do you guys think about this?

Alright. The MR J. clones was causes by a torproxy. The person who did it confided in Ferdal and he wants us to fix it.

Basically it was caused by the fact the CATCHPA doesn't rotate different numbers. If it had, and used a graphic not text it would have taken them a few minutes to do each. Since it was always 42 that made it easy to spam. We should also look into installing anti tor code. I know XKeeper had done so for JUL, and I think we should as well.
