My good sense tells me I should backup my system sometimes.
For a while, I had Windows 7's autobackup set to start every Sunday at 7PM. But every goddamn time, it went the same. The thing lagged my computer for about one or two hours, and then at like 99%, went "Backup failed. The device was not ready.". Two hours of lag wasted just because Microsoft's impatient program couldn't wait for the external HDD to wake up before trying to write on it. In the end I was sick of that and just disabled the autobackup thing. ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

41.5GB free on my main (160GB) HDD, and 454GB free on my external (1TB) HDD.
I also have a 500GB HDD 365GB free, but I don't use it much. According to HDTune it has a damaged block somewhere in the second half. I know that Windows will try to avoid using that block, but still, those things never go improving... ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

You can probably find drivers on the screen manufacturer's site.
Otherwise, if you have coding/hacking knowledge, you can make a driver or pseudodriver yourself. Messing with serial ports under Windows doesn't seem that hard. I never actually tried, but I did see some code... as for the protocol, perhaps there's some chip inside the monitor for which you can find a datasheet... ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

What I kinda miss is the stewed apple my grandma would make when I was younger. It really tasted better than all that industrial stewed apple
Also, waffles. I don't get to eat waffles often -- I mean, real waffles, not vending machine stuff. ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

My documents folder is fulla mess. I have a 'perso' folder where most of the crap is.
There's also C:\Documents, which is there for historical reasons. It mostly holds source codes to several stuff, mostly of mine. My external hard drive holds backups of older OSes of mine, and lots of other crap, too. That's where I store the ROMs and ISOs, those motherfuckers tend to take up a lot of space. ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

Posted by Liliana Exactly. That's 'cause ROM hacking is losing interest over time. Games are getting more and more complex to hack. Most times it requires 3D modelling skill. And the more detailed the models are, the more effort is needed for hacks to not look sloppy. Also, most of the kids here are spoilt brats who just want to play games with high-resolution graphics on their PS3 (the same game on a Wii is complete trash just because it's less detailed), and don't give a shit about ROM hacking. Probably it's the same in other countries, too. ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

I tend to keep several tabs open. Though, recently I adopted a better organization. I split all the tabs into 3 windows.
I'd tell GM to close the tabs he doesn't need anymore, but uh, I should do the same myself, so I amn't gonna talk ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

Posted by Emuz That's what I tried to do back then with Nikoboard. When I started SM64DS hacking, I posted there, and linked to there from my youtube videos. I have then continued doing so with my board. But it failed miserably. I already posted a thread about SM64DSe here, but uh... SM64DSe is practically getting no interest. I made it open source in the hope interest coders would help me, which would have made me regain motivation, but nope. The few people who actually care about SM64DSe just want releases and more releases. I would do it with another project, but I have no idea what to do. As it already has been said, ROM hacking is a dying art. Trying to hack a new game will just generate interest for a few weeks and then it'll be like SM64DS hacking. Looking into the present and future, it is hard to find stuff to make this place more active. All I see in these times is social networking and spoilt brats playing on their PS3. Then, I could look at what I'm interested in. Electronics, but I lack tools to make really cool stuff. Programming, but I have no idea what to code that would really be worth it. And when I look at all those failed projects of mine, I kinda lose motivation... ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

Note that a text input could support entering multiple usernames, separated with a colon or something. A select input can support multiple selections too, but with 1000 users it's gonna get tricky. And of course no way this can work with the current dropdown style it's using. ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |

Probably the postcount-related &tags&, in the same way they would break on profile.php. I haven't managed to reproduce the issue, but if I put &postnum& in my signature and read a PM of mine, &postnum& is replaced with an empty string. On profile.php it is replaced with 0. ____________________ Kuribo64 - melonDS want some revolution in your coffee? |
