Other beliefs... I don't think this counts as a "belief" per se, but after having a dream as a child that monsters grew out of the toys I left strewn on my floor, I became incapable of sleeping at night if the room was messy. And it continues until today >_>

i enjoy a really engaging RPG, but i haven't played one in so long. i really just enjoy casual/platformer games that you can just sit down and play and walk away from.
the older i get, though, the harder i find it to even beat games, i've gotten 2/3rds through so many games and just never picked them up (like FFXIII). although i finally did beat Ocarina of Time ... on the 3DS.

my feelings can be summed up in this picture msprout posted earlier in this very thread


I'd guess that comes from a slight lack of patience, time or concentration as a result of aging.

I have only a couple of unfinished ones that I know I haven't finished.. but everything else, I've gone to the end once or more.

I don't see the point in moving save data anyway.. other than to maybe create a backup copy.
If you try to run a channel from SD, it'll always load the save from the Wii's internal memory.

I also don't know what games have a no-move/copy flag assigned to them in terms of save data at least. :/

Tried launching any of the games straight from the SD card?

Not yet. Since I don't have an SD card dedicated to the Wii, I don't want to take the cards out of the devices I use them in, I haven't done anything beyond a little bit of experimenting.

Moving the save data is nice for going places you know also has a Wii, so you don't have to carry your own. Although, I think there may be a data flag in Wiiware/Virtual Console channels that assigns them to the system they were downloaded to originally. I'll have to test that with my brother, Justin's Wii.


There isn't so much a flag, but an encryption key. I know that one due to trying that myself. Save yourself a little effort. ;)
