I think the vast majority of Stuart Ashen's Youtube Channel belongs here. |

Caionna shrugs in response to Anya's question, and responds, "Just about anything you can think of, really." She motions to the rest of the room, which is filled with just about anything imaginable for entertainment.
Upon noticing Anya's disappointment, she says, "Well... Actually, I am in need of some help..." Not knowing where to begin, she doesn't continue her statement.

"Well..." Caionna begins, "You see, My home got attacked by a power hungry nation... I don't know if they originated on the same plane, or were extraplanar invaders, but they used a dark and consuming magic. They started destroying things, killing and capturing my people, and making for a hostile and bloody takeover. "My brother and mentor were among those captured by the invaders, and I want to go and save them... I know they're still alive and waiting for me, but I can't do it alone. I was hoping that if I got away and gathered a group of friends, that I would have the strength to return and at least save them." |

Being bored today, I decided to fuck around on the Wii today.
I finally played River City Ransom, but the password for the glitch "Nothing" item and breezed through the game since Nothing not only raises nearly all of your stats (except Weapon and Will Power) and acts as a full Stamina restore, it also never goes away, so it can be exploited for limitless healing. I only needed about $350 for items (two Indian Lore books [for Will Power], two Excaliburs [for Weapon damage], Stone Fists, Dragon Feet, and Grand Slam). I went through the whole game, including grinding the money on Benny and Clyde and sitting on the end screen for ten minutes while I derped around, in an hour thirty five according to my Wii memo. I also booted into Ocarina of Time, watched the opening cutscenes, remembered I hate Ocarina of Time, and played Link to the Past. Made it to Dark World. |

I saw this Kickstarter this morning, and the very thought of asking for money to do this just seems fucking awful to me.
They're going to go into the code for Cheetahmen II and fix it so that the levels play and load properly... Something that should have been done before the shit heap of a game was ever fucking released in the first place! The kicker? They want $65,000 to do it. Yes, SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS is what they want to raise. Complete. Utter. Bullshit. This! Is why I hate Kickstarter. It's a bunch of fucking fraud. |

Link to the Past and Majora's Mask are my two favorites. I love Link to the Past for its familiarity and faith to the original bird's eye perspective. That, and it's one of those games I can play from beginning to end with 100% completion without needing to look anything up, and do it within a few hours.
I love Majora's Mask for its darker tone and story. It took the series in an interesting direction. I also like how mechanically independent it is by throwing Link into a Groundhog's Day loop from hell, making him relive the same weekend infinitely to save the world from true impending doom. Let's not forget that it's also the first game in the series to not only never mention Ganon, but also not even copy a battle pattern from Ganon, because let's face it, Link's Awakening stole from LttP's Ganon during its final Nightmare. |

I bought SMRPG for Virtual Console soon after getting my Wii, and I've been subconsciously putting off playing it. I have no idea why, either... It's not like games like Disgaea that fanboy friends of mine gushed so much about it that it disgusted me into losing desire to play.
I don't get it. |

@TKB: I had the same argument with one of my friends on Twitter today (@docsigma). He tweeted that he donated, and we went back and forth about how stupid donating to them was...
@z-byte: They want sixty five grand to fix the game, which is what @TKB was talking about. Doc and I actually got into how game devs are basically doing shit like that with releasing patches for their code blunders and charging for them, also how releasing buggy games before devs had DLC for fixes caused companies to go under. |

Would it be surprising if I said I don't care about ranking this month? |

Posted by LilianaNot particularly, because all it means to me is that two poeple with pink names are ranked one above me and one below me. I have strictly platonic feelings for anyone online, so knowing someone's gender doesn't excite me. I've tried too many times in the past to grow attached to people online, and wound up getting hurt in the long run that I've stopped attempting to be more than friends with people.Posted by Trelior I know that got tangental, but I don't care. Posted by titleNot a chance. It was a few minutes too early, I'm at work, and taking the demotion to Local Mod of The Kitchen Table (Role Play Forum) removes my right to rename threads that aren't mine in other subforums. |

Sounds like the DSL got switched over to share the line with the phone. Check the splitter that feeds your Comcast router (or "modem" if you prefer, even though that's inaccurate nowadays), if it's on one, and see if it's using the phone line output. I've heard of this issue before, and it could also be from use of multiple splitters being improperly set up.
You might want to get a hold of Comcast, though. |
