I played some more Pokemon Colosseum. I rounded out the Pyrite Cave after having to reset on the boss fight with Miror B because the fucking Sudowoodo decided to commit suicide by Shadow Rushing Quilfish and getting contact poison. I blazed through the conflict in Agate Town, purified the thirteen Shadows I opened from the opening and nicknamed everything. Some of my names are hilarious (SteveIrwin [Mantine], Cuntfish [Remoraid]), others thoughtful (Sola [Espeon], Nocturne [Umbreon], Scarlet [Misdreavus]), and several are just uninspired (Hoot [Noctowl], Amp [Ampharos], Magmuh [Slugma])...
Now I'm working on Mt Battle. It's not too bad, except that I'm having a hard time wanting to force some of my Shadows into Hyper Mode to purify them quickly... Meditite's Hi Jump Kick is too useful. :/ I also played MySims for about two hours while talking to Marzen. We were initially going to take the recording I did and throw it onto thebombermanorchestr, but the capture was beyond shitty. My Dazzle does not like doing capture in 480p, it winds up looking all pixelated and shit... Probably because 480p is mild HD, and I'm using SD Composite cables, because lolWii. After experimenting, I found that a 1:1 ratio looks good in the Youtube format, but will require some editing magic to reduce the black sidebars... Something I don't know how to do. :/ |

I feel that a cutscene should be just that... A cinematic. None of that QTE shit like Shinmue or Resident Evil 4.
Another thing, if there's voice acting... The quality had better be there. None of that phoned in bullshit. * Ultimately, they should be skippable... Especially if it's before an insanely tough boss fight. * |

More Pokemon Colosseum. I'm just about ready to go into The Under, which is odd, because I don't remember it being so early in the plot. I could've sworn the lab in the desert was directly after fighting Dakim at Mt Battle.
Oh well. Since I'm painfully underleveled now from purifying my Shadows, I'm spending some time on Mt Battle to catch my team up to Entei, which is gonna take some time since everyone is six levels behind on average. |

Things that are stressing me out right now are: My job, money and the lack thereof, trying to find a new place to live and a roommate, my electronics that have been failing to varying degrees of disrepair, and to a lesser extent, getting my video quality up to par for my group videos, and get started back into my videos since I've been talking about it for the past six months. |

Well, for being at work on my night off, it's pretty damn awesome. A few of the guys made everyone dinner.
Justin made meatballs, Jim made mac 'n cheese, and someone else made cinnamon buns. It was fucking delicious. |

My boss asked me the other day if I'd cover the store tonight, despite it being my night off. At first, I didn't want to, thinking it'd be like a real-life derivative of Clerks, but unlike Dante, I'm actually in a good mood and having a decent time. |

I work at Travel Centers of America as a cashier in the travel store and gas station, graveyard shift.
The job sucks more often than not, because of how bad my ankle starts to hurt after I've been standing and running around for hours on end. Before this, I worked at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, also as a cashier. That job was flat out boring... Gee, seems like I'm wasting my degree. I spent thousands of dollars on professional training I can't even fucking use. |
