Welp.... Get to work. We all know this community deserves it.

So, my iPad fell a foot to the floor yesterday. It broke... The glass cover is fucked. The digitizer and LCD itself are okay, but I found that Apple wants THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS (WTF) to fix it. Fuck them. I am disliking them mo and more as a company as time goes on. Instead, I will be undertaking the repair myself, and will be in need of a heat gun. Anyone know where I can get one for real cheap?

There aren't any other "real" tablets... Despite how closed and demanding Apple is, the iPad is still hands down the best tablet out there.

I bought the 64GB 4G iPad 3. The part that broke, the digitizer, is $60 online, give or take depending on supplier. I will need to buy a heat gun to soften and loosen up the adhesive holding it in place.

Seriously though, I will be putting Apple aside from now on when considering buying technology, except when it comes to maybe an iPod. I just love to be able to get underneath and inside the workings of just about anything, and Apple just doesn't let you do that. I've got to be able to get my fingers dirty and tinker around, in both software side and hardware side.

Well, a blow dryer isn't as focused as a heat gun, doesn't produce as much heat, and is loud as hell. I might as well just get the proper tool, since I can remember countless situations where I could've used one.

I ordered myself a new iPad digitizer today. I also bought two new pairs of shoes and got an estimate on a paint job. Total damage? About $5200. Of course, $5100 of that was the paint job...

Yep, can't see a damn thing. But if I may, what in the fuck is hanging from your ceiling? A plant? Also, what's with those awful purple curtains?

I am getting excited for the vacation I will be taking in the middle of July. I will be going to six flags with my family in Cali and then driving back with them to AZ. After a few days there I will be flying back to Utah. There is a ton of shit I want to do.

After a week of sunny weather, I have decided that 90 degrees is bearable. Especially after enduring 115-130 degree weather at Arizona and Sky Harbor Airport respectively. Fuck that noise.

My dad just stopped by and dropped off two slices of supreme pizza from Pizza Hut. Since I took three pain reliever pills at the end of my break and my tooth stopped hurting.

That pizza was just what I needed.

EDIT: Nope. Heartburn... Bad.
