Tanabata was one of the few events I tried that wasn't Halloween or Christmas. It wasn't a grand one.. half the server flooding Amatsu and we did some random things.. all took on the castle dungeon.

The version released build of tRO2 was code named 'tanabata' but than ended up being released as 'tanjoubi' (birthday) since it came out closer to my birthday.

Tanzaku are the little slips of paper that @"Thieppy" was talking about. It just just a wish you'd like granted in poem form. Most of the time is about love or future romantic prospects!

I don't have my email public as I'm not repeating the spam tsunami my old email account had. Let's just say, the spam level was so high.. the gmail filters couldn't keep up.

I was getting a few hundred per day missing the filter. Let along the thousands the filter caught per day.

The same here. Even with obscurification measures there are ways.

IRC and Discord are the official ways to get a hold of an admin. I do have an address created for password resets but again same issues as with a personal address. We so rarely get password reset requests and if we do it's always been through IRC since everyone can get to it. It's also easier for us to verify a person via talking with them.

May we can look into improving things in the future, but for now that's how it's handled.

900 is the old area code for toll lines as well. So if you did dial Jenny I am sure it would cost you 99¢ for the first minute.. and $2.99 for each additional minute.

Fun fact my old home phone number was in the 867 exchange.

Indeed. I haven't used cassettes since the 90's but I used Metal tapes and eventually had access to a dolby S deck. I still have my vinyl but I left the tapes behind.

To me that seems like a feature that could cause more problems with people who don't know what they are doing. Also it's not a feature I think many people would use. If you would like to have that than you can use the browser extension method on your own. In fact I think most people who would want this would already do that. With a extension or greasemonkey script you can also do it locally and not have to upload it somewhere.
