The most common reason is ckey isn't properly defined in the configuration. The default value is invalid to require you to enter your own. Make sure that you change this:
to a letter-number string that is 32 chars. (as said in the comment 16 or 24 also work but it's best to use 32). Also make sure you are running PHP 5.6 as well. The oldest program I use is the bsd 'core' utils that come with OSX. Since those are all traced back to the BSD split which could be traced to 1977. I use Firefox (at work exclusively) and I use a browser called Vivaldi. (I actually have a rocky history with Vivaldi and don't exactly recommend it but I am too lazy to change.)

I look at reviews but often I do research on the item before hand. If it turns out to be crap it's on me. (Sometimes first runs are better etc.)
I've had no problems with Brother printers. I had (have) a small desktop B&W laser that did the job. Older often can be more reliable. Age plays a factor but older equipment has a better build quality and if you are willing to put in the effort parts can be found to fix the issues. Assumptions.. make asses out of us.. but when they work we often rely on them.
We're in a code consolidation and improvement mode. The goal is to try to make it so it will run in PHP7. It should work as is but with the possible little hiccups here and there. (@"Schezo" did all his work on it in a PHP 7 install. He cleaned up a few of the big snags already. Sweet! Which one of the terminal browsers did you use? I used to use lynx all the time but it didn't have 256 color support (well when I used it 256 color terms were not a thing..)
Looks really good! I'm glad the formatting reflects well without the images. If we tweaked it a bit with a few more alts here and there it would be extremely close! Posted by Epele Close.. but no.. Actually they are misplaced reasons for false superiority. They are meant to just make sure a person is who they say they are. The original system was to be open to all but when they realized it would be a lot of work they focused it on famous and people of authority etc. This in term made it a 'club' and inflated egos.
