Um, you do know that a computer that wakes up from sleep mode can be a bit more sluggish than a freshly restarted one?

But subtract that time from the time it takes to reopen all the programs and get everything back to the same state, I think I still win out...

I disable auto-sleep generally; I'm pretty good with doing so manually...

Okay, I'll at least /try/...

If I had to choose between the two? I'd pick Glasses. I don't look half bad with them (tried other people's on) and I can't stand anything on my eyeballs.

Yeah, if my eyes ever cross the line I'd end up going the glasses route, I can't even put on eyeliner let alone put something on the eye.

It was really good! I got it made spicy, which I definitely recommend.

Well, there are some people (@Emuz, for example) who can post from work. I used to be able to do that in my previous job. I can post if my phone lets me, and if there's a lil bit of downtime.

I'm lucky enough that I can use my laptop at work when there's downtime, but there isn't often downtime :P

Posting in class is right out of the question, though. (Well I could, if I didn't want to pay attention :P)

That's what always bothered me in any form of entertainment media. Good always wins. I think that proves the existence of species-wide egotism...

Perhaps people just aren't thrilled by the idea of a movie where a scrappy group of heroes prepares to fight an overwhelming evil force, and gets quickly wiped out... not very much room for drama there. :P

Why can't there be a movie or game that has evil winning out? Or have a sad ending? The latter I'm sure is more popular than the former...

I guess people would find that depressing? Phantasy Star II at least tried for an ambiguous ending, but the later games in the series kind of ruined that...

Funniest nickname you've given a pokémon?

I've never really nicknamed my pokémon, and when I did it was dopey things like nicknaming my PIDGEY in Red version Pidgeotto. (capitalization deliberate) So no interesting stories there, I'm afraid.

I made pasta and tomato sauce with sausages for dinner today; I'm getting the sauce recipe pretty well now I think, though this is something I've had plenty of practice with :P One of the few things I think I can actually cook pretty well...
