My current goal is to just not be so skinny that people think I'm unhealthy :P

I guess that's something. People always tell me I'm unhealthy as well and want me to eat more.

Another inconvience is that smaller sizes are often sold out in stores and only the larger ones are in stock. This is pretty much an unofficial rule of shopping and there have even been TV reports about this.

I've noticed this as well; it makes it hard to shop for perishable food ingredients and such when you live alone, half of it goes bad.

I was referring to clothes but I suppose it's true for food as well. They always sell it in family size even though traditional families are quite a bit rarer now. I rarely get to eat all the bread and cheese before I have to throw it away!

I thought food was still the topic, lol... I've had that issue with clothes too, especially at H&M it seems.

As for clothes, guess what I see when I go shopping. L, XL, XL, maybe XXL... but S is nowhere to be found! It's always a pain to search for that size.
At least you're not an XS. People that size have trouble finding clothes in general.

I wear XS a lot of time for shirts; and yes, I often have to settle for S or even M :P

(And vanity sizing doesn't help at all)

And if one spent a large amount of time to stop it from taking so long to load, would it really be worth it in the end?
I'd love to see someone make it take less time to load. There's probably some room for optimising in there.

I imagine so, but if you take more time to fix it than it takes to load. :P

Also, your layout's quote pyramids are really nice.

How so? The nice flow of colour or?

I would say it's the interaction of the shades of purple with black. (I also recently switched my forum scheme, so I see purple and black everywhere now)
