I ended up ragequitting Cold Shadow (Gen) again. I made it to the ghost of Quackoo and got pissed at the janky, WAY TOO LARGE hit boxes, then password skipped to Level 7. I had no idea what to do, the game expects pixel perfect bo swinging, and gives ZEOR DIRECTION. The Genesis footage isn't going on the main channel, but it may end up on Trelstreams.
After that, I cooled down with Mega Man 4, which will be mildly edited into an LP on the main Youtube channel. It went pretty well, minimal rage. I may restart Black next week. |

The Genesis version is very poorly cobbled together and barely provides any conveyance to the player.
The mechanics are counter intuitive and a few commands and controls aren't explained in-game, so it feels like a shitty form of anti-piracy. I wanted to try the Game Boy version, which came out two years after the SNES version, but I can't find a ROM for it anywhere. |

This thread is for screencaps of interesting things that happened while you were playing a game.
Beta screenshots are cool and all, but they're not exactly relevant to the topic. |

I'm up to 85 hours in Fantasy Life. I'm Creator Rank in Miner and Woodcutter, and I'm a Hero in Paladin and Tailor. Still Expert in everything else.
The only thing standing in my way of Legend/Demigod Tailor is ranking my sewing skill to 15. I figured I would try to do a Creator Request for the three Lunares Coins to get the Tailor's Pride from the clerk in Pam's office. I took the Miner quest and recruited Duglas for the trek for shits and giggles... I got up there and ended up getting my shit WRECKED hardcore. I'm level 70 with decent stat distribution for being a Miner... What I didn't expect was the Spirits of Fire and the boss protecting the Golem Stone to hit me for 150-250 damage PER HIT! For the record, my HP is about 410. Needless to say, I am NOT trying that again until I have some decent armor an a better sword... Maybe take better allies with me, like Yuelia and Celestia. Some major Fire resistance wouldn't hurt either. Aside from the shitty grind I'm suffering through right now, I'm still enjoying myself. |

I just spent the last six-ish hours editing the footage for Cold Shadow, Mega Man 4, and Keytastrophe.
Uploads begin on Monday! |

Started playing some Splatoon. I've played six or seven online matches and I gotta say, it's pretty fun. |

I'm not a fan of the roller. It's usefulness falls off too quickly for my liking. I play more aggressively than the roller will allow. |

I'm currently at 110 hours into Fantasy Life now. I'm quickly approaching the end of the game's content.
I have achieved Creator rank (God in every other version of the game because you apparently cant be having pretense of godhood in the Christian States of America. Fuck that noise, but that's for another rant) in the following Lives: Paladin, Blacksmith, Carpenter, Angler, Miner, Woodcutter, and Tailor. I am currently a Hero-Rank Cook, grinding my Life skills to level 15 in order to fulfill the requirements for Legend. I hate requirements like that. It's senseless grind. Getting the 500 trees for Woodcutter was bad enough. The other Lives (Mercenary, Hunter, Wizard, Alchemist) are still Expert rank. I haven't done anything with them since I stopped trying to grow with my story progress. I'm currently level 87 and am aiming to have all twelve Lives capped out before level 100. |

After several more hours of Fantasy Life, I am now God Rank in Cook, Alchemist, and Mercenary.
My next Life is Hunter for the simple fact of wanting to bookend my progression through the Lives as a Wizard. I started the game as one, I may as well achieve God as it last. As for my level, I'm only at 91. I'm going to speculate starting the aimless grind to 200 to start at level 95. |

The first session went a little rocky. We took some heavy losses and raged a bit, but it went pretty well all things considered.
The team (in order of meeting): Bushroot, level 18. Met on Rt 1 at level 4. Ability: Frisk Nature: Brave Moves: Drain Punch, Shadow Claw, Gyro Ball, Hone Claws Harvester, level 18. Given as a gift from the girl in the Dreamyard at level 10. Ability: Sturdy Nature: Naive Moves: Razor Shell, Cut, Stockpile, Doom Desire Ant Man, level 20. Met in Wellspring Cave at level 11 Ability: Super Luck Nature: Careful Moves: Jump Kick, Solarbeam, Air Cutter, Whirlpool Dopefish, level 18. Met on the outskirts of Pinwheel Forest at level 15. Ability: Technician Nature: Lonely Moves: Bonemerang, Bulk Up, Wring Out, Ice Punch ----------------------- Current progress: Just got the Basic Badge from Not-Lenora. Currently no reserves as everyone met has been useful and the team has never been full enough for overflow. Casualties this session: -Machete the Axew, given as a gift from Professor Juniper. His mind was blown to bits by a Kirlia's Psychic in Straiton Gym. Poor bastard didn't know what hit him. Levels 5-12. -Mr Prick the Cacnea, met on Rt 2. Splattered not unlike a sledgehammer to a watermelon by an Armaldo's Rock Wrecker on Rt 3. Levels 4-17. -Youwott the Oshawott, met in the Dreamyard. After several free revives due to the Status Break Clause, the game refused to let me keep him. His final demise came at the hand of a Slakoth's Volt Tackle in Wellspring Cave. Levels 8-13. -The unnamed Armaldo on Rt 3 that murdered Mr Prick. He would have been my capture for the route had Bushroot not tore him to shred avenging his fallen comrade. Level 8. |
