Starting a late-nighter. I may even do some Metal Gear if I'm alert enough after Pokemon's credits roll. |

That whole thing was an ungodly mess.
That said, my streams of randomized Pokemon are done. I will not be returning to that type of torture for some time. I hope you enjoyed it, because you shouldn't expect it again. Am I done streaming Pokemon? Not at all. I just need a break and to play something predictable. |

Been off and on with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Trying to find a transportation expert to upgrade my Fulton ability to vehicles, heavy weapons, and material crates because GMP growth is slow from missions as of yet and I know of a quick money exploit using one of the fairly early missions for its use of tanks. That way I don't have to feel bad after I D rank a mission or otherwise end up in the red after clearing a mission. |

Sunday? Maybe. Saturday is off the table thanks to getting the Zelda demo code I was mocking in the Discord chat. |

Note how no one said the voice chat segment was mandatory.
It's merely an option. |

Since Zelda 2 went well-ish yesterday, I figured I should move onto my Halloween special part 2.
Going to be doing the first area of Costume Quest 2! |

I've been playing a fair bit of Undertale lately. Like 20 hours of it last week. I've done the True Pacifist route and the No Mercy route, and by proxy of it being a necessity for the former, the "Spared everyone" neutral path.
Now for the hard part: seeing the endings where I kill everyone without triggering No Mercy, No Mercy where I leave it after each major boss, and all the neutral endings where I kill/spare different arrangements of the main cast. This is gonna suck because every time, Sans just gets more and more upset about it, and I don't like needing to upset him. Everyone I follow on Twitter and such love Papyrus, but I'm more invested in the complexity of the chunky brother. |

I've used both. I currently use Xsplit for my streams, but I used OBS extensively in the past.
You can do just about anything with either, but Xsplit has features I find useful over OBS, like screen capture on a small region (for bringing attention to something). Is it worth a paid subscription? No. Not at all. I actually kinda regret paying $150 for a three year license. Because everything the subscription allows me to do is stream in 60fps mode (a waste of bandwidth), in 1080p and higher without a watermark (also a waste of bandwidth), have 12 canvases instead of four (whoopty fucking doo, I only ever use three of them anyway), and do direct capture from my Hauppauge (which provides a garbage frame rate, which can be outperformed with a spare monitor and fullscreen mode... Which is doable with the FREE version). As for your question, you can do that with either. And it's most commonly done with a widget from NightDev. They have all the instructions you need and how to implement it on a canvas for either software. |

Been playing Pokemon Stadium and its sequel to prep for upcoming streams.
I was originally going to stream the whole game for both, but Round 1 just struck me as dull and toothless. So I powered through it on both and will be streaming Round 2. I've already streamed Gym Leader Tower R2 of the first Stadium, and it will be cut up in a manner similar to my current let's play format to be uploaded as my Friday slot for the coming couple of months. Provided my Patreon takes off, I may upload at a faster pace yet. |

I'm a way behind myself. I think I've only watched up to season 3.
Once Emuz catches sight of this thread, be prepared for excited blathering! (I kid) |

Were you using Game Capture or Window Capture for the game source?
Xsplit needs a source for everything you want to have appear. |
